About Prime Wear
Prime Wear develops made-to-measure performance clothing for cycling, triathlon and running, mainly in the DACH region. Every one of our PW custom kits is built to the customer's brief, with no rigid template and no compromises.
We are a small, fast team based in Graz with a growing customer base, and we are looking for reinforcement exactly where our product is made: in design.
The role
You design our customers' custom kits. From the first briefing to the production-ready file.
You translate club logos, sponsors and colour worlds into designs that work on the bike, in the water and on the run, and look like pro kit. You work directly on our pattern templates and deliver files that go into production without rework.
What you will do
- 01Create custom designs for tri suits, cycling jerseys, bibs, running shirts and other kit pieces
- 02Turn customer briefings, logos and sponsor material into coherent design concepts
- 03Produce first drafts and revision rounds based on customer feedback
- 04Build mockups and views for customer approval
- 05Prepare production-ready files (vectors, colour spaces, seam allowances, placements, size grading)
What you bring
- 01Confident in Adobe Illustrator, ideally Photoshop too
- 02Experience with sublimation design or sportswear, or a portfolio that shows you pick things up fast
- 03A feel for sportswear: you know what a jersey looks like when it is worn, not just flat on the screen
- 04Clean, technical work with vector files and pattern templates
- 05Reliable, independent and quick to communicate
- 06German or English, both a plus
- 07A connection to cycling, triathlon or running is not a must, but it helps a lot
